Not having an agenda per se for this day, after lunching at Mrs. Simpson’s and roaming around in Dullstroom, we headed to the Lone Creek Falls near Sabie and then swung by Sabie Brewing Co.
After you park at the Lone Creek Falls, it’s a very short walk to the bottom of waterfall. There’s a chance to get wet, if you want, so get a change of clothes, if you will.
The drive was very beautiful, full of green landscapes almost all through.
Sabie Brewing Co. was a nice little brewery, with beers, primarily, and some other hard liquors as well as wine. The husband and the sister’s husband went with the beer flight. I tried their citrus mampoer and lemon liqueur. It’s a fruit liquor / fruit brandy. Never heard of it before, but apparently is a South African or Afrikaans. Some people equated it to moonshine.
A good place for the adults to befuddle away while the kids cavort in the little play area right by the outdoor tables.
You have amazing pictures!! This is a great post!
Glad you enjoyed!
