Majestic Café seemed to be Porto’s equivalent of Lisbon’s Café A Brasileira. Similar setup –busy street, grand entrance, fun music (that played in the restrooms) and outdoor seating.
It was around 3 PM and we hadn’t eaten lunch, only doughnuts from a cafe, and some other nuts during the vineyard tour earlier in Douro, so we went here. Not that we had a lunch here either, but we grabbed a cappuccino, a bombom – which is condensed milk, espresso, milk and chocolate, a majestic French toast.
Everything was good.
A nice place for the classic ‘European’ al-fresco coffee feel.
