Early dinners for me, earlier happy hours when I’m travelling solo. No crowd, but Little Faifo just wouldn’t let me up on their balcony.
The first day, I passed on their offer to seat only downstairs. I thought it a bit rude of them to say no, when it wasn’t booked, occupied or peak hour. But, I let it go.
The next day, I parked myself on their outdoor seats and watched the swarms of tourists go by in the sweltering 100 degrees+, while I imbibed their blue curacao margarita.
It’s called the lantern street in Old Town of Hoi An in Vietnam and I bid those lanterns adieu with this blue drink, washing away the blues of my vacation coming to an end.
Ha! Kidding, I was all ready to go back home, to the mighty Kong, as much as I enjoyed Hoi An.
