A special lunch celebrating a colleague’s birthday and anniversary at work. It was a good place, a very friendly server and very good food.
Thin crust wood-oven fired pizza. We tried the truffle and mushroom pizza. The crust was great. And they were generous on the truffle.
They had a pasta on offer that wasn’t on the menu. I didn’t get what it’s called, but it was perfectly cooked. Smooth and soft, certainly not al-dente, which I’m not a fan of anyway.
The pesto was light and flavorful, and nut-free. They topped it with burrata cheese and blistered tomatoes.
We went with a bottle of wine as it was a special lunch, and also got a dessert – a tiramisu, which was has been the most unique presentation I’ve seen.
Taste was good too. The cake was moist and the cream tasted fresh. And there was lots of it.
Cheers to good times! And so glad I don’t have to go to those boring Irish pubs.
