When in India, especially smaller towns, I prefer to stick to Indian food and restaurants. After some back and forth on whether it’s worth it or not, we finally made it to Kailash Parbat‘s Nagpur outpost.
Marketing itself as a chat or Indian street food place with jazzed up presentations, I was all for trying it.
I’ve been to their Hong Kong location and the Nagpur one had a similar look and feel. Contemporary.
Taste was similar too. I mean, speaks for the consistency of the restaurant. The food is good, but not drool-worthy. Their chutneys just don’t pack the punch that your average street vendor would. And I wonder why!
I think Kailash Parbat is a go-to if you want to satiate your street food desires in relatively modern digs, where you sit and chat and (eat) chaat.
