I visited here yesterday. The name of the place came from a team-mate when the place was doing free bowls for the first week. That I came here much later is a whole different story.

It’s a vegetarian place that serves quinoa based bowls and touts those as healthier versions of salads. That I agree with, probably. But the bowl I tried – Mexican style, burrito bowl was plain bad. There was something bitter about the mushrooms or the beans. The pico de gallo wasn’t as fresh as I’d wanted it to be. The guacamole was the only good thing about it.

The place has to be the most new age, if I may, that I’ve visited. You order at one of those kiosks after swiping your card. It displays your name on a digitzed wall up there on where your order number is, in the queue. And they have little niches with little doors from where you pick up your orders. It’s all illuminated, except for the time your order is being put in their, when they darken it – have a digital curtain that goes up and down as your order gets placed. And your name shows up on that niche.

I didn’t like my bowl at all – on the taste front.

The hubster said he’s been there three times, and he really liked it.

Quite geeky and techy, the place.
