So like day 1 in Porto, we went to this vegan/ vegetarian place in Oporto that had a buffet, again. As colorful. Quite different. Including their hot dishes, quite unlike we eat in New York.
They had seitan curry, sliced tomatoes, rice and potatoes, spring rolls filled with lentils, a very delicious bean stew and stuffed mushrooms for hot dishes. The cold ones included sushi, salads and the likes.
The photos are gone with my new lost iPhone – there were these that I’d uploaded on social media before losing the phone.
For dessert, we got this chocolate-like cake which was made out of a fruit called carob. Did you know of it? I hadn’t heard of it before. After you taste it, you could probably tell that it’s not chocolate, but definitely not by the looks.
A fun and bright place, with swings as seats, for some. Which I would’ve enjoyed if baby K were older and could’ve sat on of them too 🙂
