When you have the hubster’s colleagues coming in for dinner on Monday evening and he missed to remind you and you forgot to recollect and you work too and you wouldn’t have much time on your hands but want to have at least one appetizer and you decide to do a steamed savory cake – dhokla, but are lazy to give a tadka, so you spread a spicy pickle masala over it, sprinkle it with some bhujia and hara dhania and tadaa!

The dinner was simple Indian black eyed peas curry, garlicky squash, Indian flatbreads and jeera rice.
