Birthdays and Calf Pasture Beach

This past weekend started at 6:30 AM on Saturday.  Thought the zip lining at the summerstreets would be fun.

So it started with a twentyish minute walk to the Exchange Place path station followed by a Path train ride to WTC followed by a cab ride (because we wanted to make it there before 8 AM to get slots for zip line.  It was little!  The zip line was little!  My imagination was that it’d be somewhere close to the Brooklyn bridge and higher and longer and in between building and that it would be awesome!  I was so disappointed after seeing that that we decided not to waste any more of our time standing in line there and walked up north.  Up to 27th street and all.  By the whole foods market stalls.

We sampled vegetarian burger by Made by Lukas and potted a little plant.

Some more time spent there and we were on our way back home.  Had idli, masala dosa and peanut chutney for brunch at home.  Then went to the airport to receive MIL.

Then spent sometime in the pool with baby K and then had fun and lots of wine at baby A’s Hawaiian themed party.

The next day was spent at Norwalk’s Calf Pasture beach, for baby I’s birthday.  Baby K seemed to have most fun at the beach and couldn’t stop ‘wow’ing, over the sands and over his pretty friend baby I 🙂

More fun was had than the photos suggest.
